Hi, I’m Maria Victoria (Vivi) Palheiro, a music industry professional driven by creativity, global storytelling, and artist development.

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I moved to New York City at 18 to pursue my career in music and am currently a senior at the Music Business program at New York University. My academic journey has also taken me to Florence, where I spent a semester immersed in Italian culture, art, and music, an experience that deepened my global perspective and passion for cross-cultural creativity.

I am the Founder and CEO of MVP Jams, a creative agency dedicated to supporting emerging artists through strategic storytelling. I specialize in crafting press releases, artist bios, and interviews that position talent for national and global visibility, with a strong focus on international marketing and cultural connection.

Professionally, I have gained experience across marketing, digital strategy, and live events. As a Digital Marketing Intern at Primary Wave Music, I contribute to campaigns for iconic catalogs and artists, working across social media, content strategy, and audience engagement. Previously, at Sounds of Brazil (SOB’s), New York’s largest independent music venue, I supported digital and traditional marketing efforts, managed social media initiatives, and helped create engaging experiences that connect artists with audiences.

In my leadership roles, I serve as Co-President of Music Business Ambassadors (MUSBA) at NYU, where I lead large-scale industry programming and partnerships with organizations such as Spotify, Wasserman Agency, Universal Music, and Live Nation, creating meaningful opportunities for students to engage with the industry. I also serve as Chief of Communications for BRASA at NYU, where I oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring cohesive messaging and strengthening engagement within the Brazilian student community.

As a multilingual professional and proud polyglot, I am passionate about connecting people across cultures and amplifying diverse voices within the global music landscape.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy attending Broadway shows, playing tennis, photography, drumming, and spending time at the beach in Rio.
